Are there any mileage limits?
Yes – but you’ll be unlikely to hit it! Our maximum mileage is an average of 400miles per day over the period of booking.
Can I take the van abroad?
Yes, you are welcome to drive our vans anywhere within the EU! However, we require you to let us know at the time of booking.
What happens if something’s not working?
We try to ensure that your van is in full working order when you pick it up, but occasionally things will go wrong. In the first instance, please refer to the van handbook. However, if you’re still stuck, please give us a call and we’ll help you fix the problem. If you end up out of pocket by purchasing replacement items (up to a maximum of £50), please keep the receipts and we’ll reimburse you. However, please call us to let us know before you buy anything.
What happens if I break down?
Our VW camper is less than a year old and is regularly serviced therefore breakdowns are unlikely. But, if you are unfortunate to breakdown, your policy includes full UK and EU breakdown cover. Please refer to the camper instruction manual in the glovebox!
What happens if I have an accident?
Don’t panic - we have a handy guide accessible via the QR code located in the van or the user manual in the glovebox!
What time do I need to return the van?
Vans must be dropped off by 11am on the day of return. Late return charges of £100/ph after 11am will be charged to the hirer should the van be returned late. We are strict on the policy as this has a knock-on effect on our other clients.
What time can I pick up the van?
Vans are available for collection between 2pm and 5pm on your day of departure.
Where do I pick up the van?
We are based in Hebburn, South Tyneside.
Are the vans suitable for children?
Definitely – our van has 6 travel seats including ISOFIX points so kids are welcome to enjoy their campervan holiday!
How many people does your van accommodate?
Our vans has 6 belted seats and can sleep 4 comfortably (Or up to 6 if travelling with small children). Feel free to pack a tent and have additional guests.
How many people can travel in your vans?
Our vans will safely seat 6 people whilst on the road - 3 in the front and 3 in the rear.
How easy are the vans to drive?
The Van itself is like driving any manual car and even though it is classed as a long wheel base, it will fit in most car park bays. You will get a full handover so make sure to ask any questions you may have, but ultimately, like driving any new vehicle, take your time getting to understand the van, before enjoying the great outdoors!
What fuel do your vans take?
Diesel fuel.
Can I bring pets?
We allow well behaved dogs! (max of 2 per booking) and please ensure all surfaces are covered to help prevent any damage.
Who can drive your vans?
Drivers must be between the age of 25 and 79 years of age and must have held a full driving licence for a minimum of two years. You must not have had more than 6 penalty points in the last 3 years and have not been declined insurance.
The basic cost includes fully comprehensive insurance and breakdown cover for one driver.
Can we add an additional driver?
Yes, an additional driver can be added onto the booking with a £30 fee.
Pre authorisation deposit
This deposit must be paid one day prior to rental, by debit or credit card and is fully refundable upon the return of the vehicle, provided it and any accessories are delivered on time and in the same condition as when they left. This must include a full tank of the correct fuel type.
